Learn the tech skills employers are actually hiring for

A working library of short, practical courses for career changers, self-taught developers and IT people trying to move up a rung.

The problem with most tech training

You finish a course, you have a certificate, and you still cannot answer the question an interviewer asks in minute four: what have you actually built? Video-only training is good at explaining and bad at proving. Nobody hires on a completion bar.

The other failure is scope. Courses that try to cover an entire field end up covering none of it deeply enough to use on Monday. You can watch forty hours of cloud content and still not know how to stand up the thing you were asked to stand up.

This is for you if
  • You are self-taught and need proof, not theory
  • You are in IT and want the next rung
  • You want something to show an interviewer
This is not for you if
  • You want a degree programme
  • You want a credential we are not able to issue
  • You want to watch rather than build

Straight answer

What we do not do

We do not issue certifications, credentials or licenses. Where a course prepares you for a certification, that certification is awarded by the independent body that runs the exam, not by us. Finishing a course here earns a certificate of completion — exactly what it says, and nothing more.

Who writes this

Course material and written guides are produced and reviewed by the Tech Skills Library Editorial Team. Where a claim rests on a specification, vendor document or standard, we name it. How we research, write, review and use automated tools is set out on our Editorial & AI Disclosure page.
